Four One-Act Plays – Gallery

A Phoenix Too Frequent was first performed at the Southwick Drama Festival in 1954. Great Catherine was similalry Young Wick Players entry in the 1956 festival; both were adjudged the winners. The view was held that to present these productions – along-side two curtain raisers – would be appreciated by a wide audience. However, for this production Ian Elliott was now away at college, so his part was taken by Patrick Johnson
