The Worthing Herald carried this on Sept. 24, 2009 : “Frances Mary died peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Brian. A devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a much loved sister: sadly missed by all her family and many friends.
Funeral service at the Woodvale Crematorium, Lewes Road, Brighton, on Tuesday October 6 at 1.45pm. No black to be worn please and family flowers only.”
and President Betty Dawes’ announcement : ” I am very sad to have to tell you that Frances passed away in a Rest Home on Thursday, 3rd September, after being in hospital since last Christmas.
She had been so poorly and in such pain and I, and other friends, believe she never really recovered from losing her beloved Brian in Januray 2007.
The funeral will be at Woodvale Crematorium at 1.45pm on Tuesday, 6th October. followed by a reception in the Garden Room at the Community Centre.”
